Olga Korbut is an all-time legend in the sport of gymnastics. At age 17 in the 1972 Olympics, she turned heads with her spectacular performance that earned her three gold medals for the Soviet Union, and also displayed many innovative moves that have yet to be matched to this day.
Olga continued her outstanding gymnastics performances for several years, and then added another gold medal to her resume in the 1976 Olympics. She retired from active competition shortly later, but gymnastics enthusiasts still talk about her magnificent performances.
